Next event: Our first race of the season! Hüttcross Round 1 on Sunday 26 May at Wainuiomata Mountain Bike Park. Racing starts at 10am.

Cyclocross racing in the Hutt Valley, Wellington, New Zealand

Why race Hüttcross?

Grades to suit all abilities

We have grades for everyone, ranging from a 10 minute kids’ race, to A grade, with approximately 60 minutes of s̶u̶f̶f̶e̶r̶i̶n̶g̶  joy.

Ride any bike you like

We allow any bike in C and B grade (A grade is CX bikes only). You will probably want knobbly tires to deal with the Hutt mud, though.

Great family atmosphere

We’re proud of the relaxed, fun vibe that the cyclocross community brings to each event. Bring your whānau for a great day out.

New to cyclocross?

Cyclocross is heaps of fun, and we’re sure that once you’ve tried it, you’ll be addicted! View our guide for newbies about how to ride cyclocross and what to expect on the day.

Our sponsors

Crucial Custom Cycles

Crucial Custom Cycles bike frames are one-off distinctive units, precisely aligned, welded and assembled. There are no production lines here. Anders crafts one frame at a time, taking care with each stage of construction to make sure all components are of the highest quality and the fillet brazing is strong and clean.

We’re focused on individually producing top quality wheels with incredible attention to detail and not on ‘selling units.’ We focus so much on quality because quality leads to durability and performance. Quality is what allows us to offer world-beating wheelsets with unmatched warranties. Over the past 12 years of wheelbuilding we’ve seen every trend come and go and we’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. Our philosophy is to ignore the trends and the hype and build the worlds finest wheels.
